Our committees are an opportunity for you to focus on a particular area of interest that our organization is involved in. Committees are a great way to pick the part of the organization that is right up your alley.

Finance Committee
Oversees recommendations for monies, investments and distributions.  Do you have special finance expertise?  Contact:

Research Committee
Keeps the history of the Society and genealogy-related matters.  They undertake special research projects and are currently engaged in documenting the historical vital records for the town.  Contact:


Membership Committee

Endeavors to recruit new members as well as updating membership renewals.  Contact:


Collections Committee

Serves as Society Curator, records and maintains accessions (gifts and/or loans), and arranges and displays exhibits.  Contact:


Schoolhouse Committee

Supervises the Schoolhouse operations as well as the recruitment and training of docents.  Contact:


Historic Cemetery Committee

Organizes historical clean-ups as well as helps to maintain the many historical cemeteries in Charlestown.  Contact Committee Chair Curtis Smith: 


Building & Maintenance Committee

Responsible for overall maintenance of building and grounds.    Contact:
